I'm so sorry for having not updated for a while, it's just that this blogging thing is quickly wearing off me and there has been too many times when i've considered shutting the thing down as I find it very hard to maintain, blogging seems to have lost it's zeal for me but for some reason, it's not been an easy decision to just pack up and go. I know that i surely will miss it once I take it off web so i've decided to tough it out.

I am so preoccupied with stuff in my life right now that I barely have time for leisure. My business is somewhat suffering or more or less put on hold at this time gan. I have had request to organise at least 3 events this month alone but I turned them down (very good for business, abi?).

I did something silly which I didn't disclose to Mo and that has really caused a disagreement between us. It looks like we are heading there but my goodness, I really love this man that for a change it's hard for me to say "yeah!, whatever! leave!!. I want to work on it but then again, something tells me it's a lost course. I'm not exactly a spring chicken o, I mean, soon the big 3-0 will be knocking. Okay...i'm still like 25, jo! Lol... But seriously, i'm not in the least desperate to get hooked but I find those wedding websites fascinating, i tell ya! Mo is tall, fair, handsome, confident, sexy, speaks soooooooooooooo well...(God knows I have something for men who can articulate). My Mo is "all that plus a bag of chips" like a good friend would say:-) but the trouble is, Mo knows all this and maybe it gets to his head a tad bit. We'll see what happens on that front sha.

You know my little neice shey? I tell you something, that child is not ordinary! She is something else and heavens know I'm abducting her to Naija this summer. I don't need to have her British passport(just in case her mama no release the booklet), I will just bundle her to Naija High commission, apply for a green pali and if they need proof that she's Naija, i'll ask her to sing "Lorile" and "Yahooze"(You wouldn't believe how well she can sing these songs, perhaps, i'll make a little home video and post it on here for proof).

Why abduct her, did you ask? Well, I want to take her back home for some good home training, like I had when growing up!

Okay, here's what prompted my decision...

I got little miss Diva a nintendo DS for Christmas and since then, i've kept to my promise of 2 DS games per month. Okay, last month, she said she wanted cooking mama 2 which I of course bought. As our bi monthly ritual, Little Diva comes to spend the weekend with me and we do girly things, sometimes, she comes with her friends and we all have girls night in with the popcorn and pillow works and it's usually fun, I must admit. Now, there was this particular day little Miss Diva was at mine and I had the opportunity of playing 'Cooking Mama' on her DS(I must admit, that thing has very good chinese food recipe on there o). To be honest, I learnt a new technique on chopping onions on that thing! Anyway, so it was dinner time and I decided to try out one of the recipes on cooking mama. Hmmm...you wouldn't believe the cheek of this little madam when she opened her mouth and told me that I was doing it all wrong! She said I was meant to "sautee the onions and garlic and not burn them"! Those, my people, where her exact words! I looked at the thing and just shook my head because I knew that whatever I said would get another witty retort.

I thought that was the end of that episode until I went to Miss Diva's house for a visit one weekend o and my aunty asked me to help myself to something in the kitchen. I decided on another chinese recipe. My aunty, her friend and her husband including that little chicken enjoyed my food. My aunty nicely complimented me...and guess what?! Little miss thing had to open her mouth and say "She learnt to cook from my DS!" Her mum was like: "what do you mean?" She had to go on and narrate how I would play cooking mama and then try out the recipe! Imagine!

Well...I really don't learn anyway as today, I went out with the little missy to the park and we went on this certain ride...I don't think I can call it a ride. It was more like a tire held with chains and hooked to iron bars. Anyway, she got on it and I spun her round. She enjoyed it immensely and would scream out loud. We did that for some 15 minutes and I asked us to stop. She went on to the swings and I decided to take a rest on the tyre ride. I closed my eyes and was gradually relaxing when suddenly I felt the thing move. I opened my eyes to see this little madam pushing the thing! The truth is that I never go on rides as I get dizzy quickly. I begged for her to stop but she was having too much fun! She started laughing her head off calling me a scardy cat! A scardy what?! I had to seriously beg this child to please stop it o. I got off and I could have sworn that I saw my late grandma waving to me in the clouds!

That would teach me!
